Hattie Sanderson

Hattie Sanderson is an artist and instructor specializing in metal clay. She began her career as an art director in the graphic design field. In 1990 Hattie opened her own studio to explore, create and teach in the disciplines of fiber and metal. In the mid 1990's Hattie was introduced to metal clay. Since then, her fascination with this material has become her main focus.

Hattie is known for her enthusiastic, thorough and approachable teaching style. She is certified to teach both Art Clay® and PMC® classes and taught for several years at the PMC Senior Instructor level. She is currently the Director of Education for, and She sits on the advisory board for the metal clay Masters Registry Program and also enjoys teaching a variety of workshops through out the year. She has won many national awards and is published in several notable books and publications.
